Today the House of Commons is due to have a debate on "Defence Policy". This is due to follow the Statement on Business by the Leader of the House and subsequent questions.The House of Commons regularly has debates on Defence issues - as well as Defence Questions (normally on Mondays - at 4 week intervals - next due on 2nd November). It has its own select committee - the House of Commons Defence Committee (HCDC). which is charged with examining the expenditure, administration, and policy of the Ministry of Defence and its associated public bodies.
