Lord Renton of Mount Harry will today initiate a debate of an hour during the 'dinner break' in the House of Lords - by posing the following question to the Government: "what steps they are taking to increase the connection between Parliament and the public."While some proposals were made last week - this could lead to a wider debate. Lord Renton is the Chair of the Lords Information Committee, which is conducting an inquiry into "People and Parliament".
